Dr. Christian C. Bennerman
Dr. Christian C. Bennerman is a native of Miami, FL. He ventured off after high school to Nashville, TN to attend Tennessee State University. He graduated with a degree in chemistry and was accepted into Meharry Medical College’s School of Dentistry. It was there that he discovered his passion for Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. After graduating from dental school, he was accepted into the General Practice Residency at Meharry, completing a full year. After completion, he was accepted into the Oral and Maxillofacial Residency program at Meharry under the guidance of Dr. C. Ray Bennett, Dr. Charles Williams, and a host of other esteemed professionals. As a resident, Dr. Bennerman trained at Nashville General Hospital, Nashville Memorial Hospital, Murfreesboro VA, and University of Tennessee Medical Center in Knoxville, TN. He completed he residency in 2005. After graduation, Dr. Bennerman served as Oral Surgery Dental Clinic Director at Meharry Medical College, and sat on the Admissions Committee. Dr. Bennerman also founded a program at Meharry for young students with an interest in oral surgery to become involved and shadow the surgery residents. Dr. Bennerman has given numerous lectures over the years and always available to assist young doctors. Dr. Bennerman’s private practice is located in the Antioch, a suburb of Nashville, TN.
Dr. Bennerman enjoys spending time with his wife and his son, who is entering high school and loves to play basketball. He also enjoys family movie nights, fishing and quiet evenings with his loved ones.
